The Director of Public Services oversees the Sewer and Water Maintenance Division, Parks and Recreation, Water Treatment Plant, Garage, and Clinch Park Marina. The Director coordinates departmental activities with other City staff offices and synchronizes projects between divisions within the department. The Director works with employees and supervisors to develop policies, procedures, and program training, safety, and infrastructure maintenance. The Director oversees contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and the budget process for the departments.

Major projects proposed for the coming year include sanitary sewer and manhole rehabilitation, additions to park and cemetery irrigation systems, replacement of traffic signal equipment, and initiation of the Clinch Marina improvement project.
