ESTIMATED STARTING DATE:

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE:

Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be doing final painting of concrete portions of the newly rehabilitated US-31/M-72 bridges over the Boardman River. This portion of the project could not be done until the concrete had cured adequately.
This work finishes up a $1.5 million project to make deck repairs, replace bearings and paint the bridges over the Boardman River. The project started Feb. 22, and was largely completed by June 9.

This work will require single-lane closures under flag control. One lane will be open in each direction at all times.
This project ensures the safety and structural integrity of these bridges.
