Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be doing final painting of concrete portions of the newly rehabilitated US-31/M-72 bridges over the Boardman River. This portion of the project could not be done until the concrete had cured adequately.

This work finishes up a $1.5 million project to make deck repairs, replace bearings and paint the bridges over the Boardman River. The project started Feb. 22, and was largely completed by June 9.
