S. Garfield Ave. Lane Closure

TRAVERSE CITY- The City of Traverse City and Rieth – Riley Construction Co., Inc. will be resurfacing Boon St. between S. Garfield Ave. and Hastings St. The work is expected to start on Wednesday, October 11th and be substantially complete on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Schedule is subject to change due to weather.

On Boon St., between S. Garfield Ave. and Hastings St., crews will be removing existing pavements, grading and compacting the gravel base and overlaying with hot mix asphalt. Boon St. will be closed to all traffic during the day when workers are present. The intersection of Boon St. and Hastings St. will remain open to traffic.

On S. Garfield Ave. the easterly northbound lane at the Boon St. intersection will be closed during the day when workers are present.

Delays can be expected. Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce congestion. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.
