1100 Block Barlow Street Closure

Barlow Street will be closed to all traffic

October 23-24, 2017

TRAVERSE CITY- Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that Earthworks Excavating will be closing the 1100 Block of Barlow Street between Carver Street and Baldwin Street for utility work.  This closure will take place on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 8 a.m. and will be reopened by the end of the day on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.  This will cause disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.  This closure is weather dependent.

The work will require the street to be closed to all traffic while the work is being done.  Access will be maintained to all residences and businesses at all times.  There will be a signed detour route in place during the closure.

Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce congestion, delay and inconvenience for your travels. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.

This construction will generate dust, noise and cause inconvenience. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call John McWethy at 922-4467 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
