       1600 Block Eastern Ave. Closure

Eastern Avenue will be closed to all traffic

November 1st, 2017

TRAVERSE CITY- Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that Elmer’s Crane and Dozer will be closing the 1600 Block of Eastern Ave. between Bloomfield Road and Eastwood Street for paving a utility patch.  This closure will take place on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. and will be reopened by mid-afternoon.  This will cause disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.  This closure is weather dependent.

The work will require the street to be closed to all traffic while the work is being done.  Access will be maintained to all residences at all times.  There will be a signed detour in place during the closure.

Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce congestion, delay and inconvenience for your travels. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.

This construction will generate dust, noise and cause inconvenience. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call John McWethy at 922-4467 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
