N. Oak St. will be closed to all traffic

June 14th & 15th, 2018

TRAVERSE CITY- Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that Alpers Excavating will be closing the 100 Block of N. Oak St. between Front St. and Third St. for Utility Work.  This closure will take place on Thursday, June 14th 2018 at 7:00 a.m. and will be reopened by June 15th at 8:00 p.m.  This will cause disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.  This closure is weather dependent.

The work will require the street to be closed to all traffic while the work is being done.  Access will be maintained to all businesses at all times.  There will be appropriate signage in place during the closure.

Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce congestion, delay and inconvenience for your travels. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.

This construction will generate dust, noise and cause inconvenience. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call John McWethy at 922-4467 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
