E. Eighth Street Lane Shifts between Wellington Street and Railroad Avenue

Lane shifts through September 21

TRAVERSE CITY- Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that Miller Pipeline will be shifting lanes on the 500 & 600 Blocks of E. Eighth Street between Wellington Street and Railroad Avenue for gas main replacement. Lane shifts have been in place since September 12, 2018 and will be ongoing until September 21, 2018. Lane shifts will be in effect on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This will cause disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic. These shifts are weather dependent. Eighth Street will not be entirely closed at any time.

Access will be maintained to all businesses and residences at all times.

Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce congestion, delay and inconvenience for your travels. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.

This construction will generate dust, noise and cause inconvenience. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call John McWethy at 922-4467 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
