100 Block Garfield Ave. Closure

Garfield Ave. will have Northbound lane shifts November 5th, 2018 and November 6th, 2018

TRAVERSE CITY- Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that Molon Excavating will be shifting lanes in the 100 Block of Garfield Ave. between E. Front St. and State St. for utility work.  This work will cause lane shifts and disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.   These lane shifts will take place on Monday November 5th, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. and will re-open by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 6th, 2018.  This will cause disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.  The work is weather dependent.  Northbound lanes on Garfield Ave. between E. Front St. and State St. will impacted.

Access will be maintained to all businesses and residences at all times.

Please use alternate routes avoiding this area to reduce congestion, delay and inconvenience for your travels. Appropriate signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.

This construction will generate dust, noise and cause inconvenience. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call John McWethy at 922-4467 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
