Temporary Multi-Way Stop Control at

Cass St. / Washington St. and

Boardman Ave. / Washington St. Intersections

TRAVERSE CITY- Due to increased north and south bound traffic on Cass St. and Boardman Ave. resulting from the E. Eighth St. reconstruction project the City of Traverse City will be installing temporary stop control at the following intersections. North and south bound traffic on Cass St. will be required to stop at the Washington St. intersection. North and south bound traffic on Boardman Ave. will be required to stop at the Washington St. Intersection.

These regulatory signs are expected to be installed today, May 10, 2019 and will be enforced until the completion of the E. Eighth St. project. Advanced warning signage will be provided to notify drivers of this requirement. Additional plaques will be provided on existing stop signs for east and west bound traffic on Washington St. to notify drivers these are multi-way stop intersections.
