Due to the lawsuits filed by Leoni Wellness and Sucurecann, Circuit Court Judge Thomas Power has ordered the City Clerk Benjamin Marentette to not accept applications for adult-use marijuana retail and microbusiness establishments. Therefore, the city will be announcing at a later date the status of when it may be accepting applications for adult-use marijuana retail and microbusiness establishments.
At the November 10th Special City Commission Meeting, it was a consensus of the City Commission to have the City Attorney propose recommendations for revisions to the scoring matrix which will be brought back to the City Commission at a later date.
