What is the site fee? What does that include?

The cost of the venue will vary depending on the date, weekday vs. weekend, and other variables. For specific pricing and details, please contact the Hickory Hills Manager under the Contact Us tab. The rental fee includes existing furniture, restrooms, kitchen space, and venue space. 

What is the deposit? Is there a refund for cancellation?

The first installment and nonrefundable deposit consists of 50% of the rental rate, a $500 security fee, and set-up and/or tear down fees, if any. The contract will not be approved until the deposit is received. Reservation cancellations made within 60 days of event date will receive the security fee refund of $500 and remaining rental rates paid to date. Reservation cancellations made less than 60 days of event date will receive only the security fee refund of $500.

How many people does The Lodge at Hickory Hills hold?

The Lodge can accommodate up to 138 people for a seated, indoor event, and 325 people for an outdoor event. 

Do you have different tables for events?

The existing tables and benches in the lodge are included with the venue but are not used for outdoor use.  

Where can we take pictures?

The Lodge offers the ability for guests to take pictures inside and out. The grounds are for you to use for all photo opportunities. 

Is the facility and restrooms handicap accessible?

Yes. The Lodge and indoor restrooms are ADA accessible.  

Is there adequate parking?

Yes. The Lodge parking lot can accommodate 182 vehicles.

What time will my guests have to leave the facility?

Guests must leave the facility by 10:00 pm.

Is smoking allowed?

No

Is cooking permitted on-site?

Cooking is allowed on-site but not in the prep kitchen. Caterers must pre-cook all meals or can pull a food truck to the back door of the kitchen and cook meals there. Caterers are allowed to use the kitchen to set up all dishes. 

What time can the vendors arrive for the event?

Vendors are able to arrive at 10:00 am. 

Are decorations allowed in The Lodge?

Yes. However, the following are prohibited to be used on the walls, floors, doors, windows, and ceiling: nails, pins, tacks, staples, glue or tape. You may use contained candles on approved surfaces only.

Is The Lodge air-conditioned and/or heated?

Yes

Are pets allowed?

Only certified service animals are allowed

What are the dimensions of The Lodge?

The indoor space is 50 ft. long by 40 ft. wide or 2,000 sq. ft. The area available to be tented in the outdoor space is 100 ft. by 40 ft. wide or 4,000 sq. ft.
