Overview
The Director of Municipal Utilities is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all aspects of the City's Public Utilities, including wastewater collections and transmission systems, stormwater collection and treatment systems, and water treatment and distribution systems, as well as, providing oversight for the wastewater treatment plant operations agreement-currently with Jacobs.
Other responsibilities include project management related to the investment into our water and sewer system to ensure clean drinking water and the future sustainability of the watershed. Infrastructure improvements provide long-term productivity savings to the customers of the utilities, as well as the avoided costs of frequent disruptions in water and wastewater service.
