Volleyball Leagues

A Perfect Set

The Parks and Recreation Department offers the following volleyball leagues:  Women’s “A” and “B”, and Co-ed “B”.

In all divisions, “A” league will be for the more competitive teams.  The “B” league is for the teams that are interested in playing well, but where the competition is not as intense.

The leagues usually include two practice nights, approximately twelve game nights, a double-elimination tournament, balls, nets, a paid official, trophies for the teams, sponsor for first- and second-place for the regular season, and a first-place tournament plaque.  The season runs from October through March.

For dates, registration and cost please contact the Department of Public Services at 231-922-4910, extension 114, in late August.
