Patrol Services Division Lieutenant
Lieutenant Ryan Taylor was promoted to Lieutenant in February of 2024 and is responsible for directing the orderly enforcement of laws and ordinances and coordination of daily police functions through the Sergeants for the preservation of law and order.
He also coordinates various public relations activities by assigning a Sergeant to each of the four Service Areas as appropriate. To ensure that the community policing philosophy set forth by the department is carried out on a daily basis, Sergeants are directed to meet or assign Officers to meet with community groups, associations, and individual citizens to promote positive public relations
