MDOT line and symbol painting

Traverse City area painting 6/5/17-6/16/17

TRAVERSE CITY- Motorists and pedestrians should be aware that contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be painting all state trunkline roads over the next two weeks in the Traverse City area. Painting includes line painting, symbols, crosswalks and stop bars. The work will be performed during the day. Mobile closures will occur throughout the work areas. This work will cause disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic and possible delays.  The work is weather dependent. Appropriate signage and warnings will be in place in and around the work areas.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please feel free to call the Traverse City MDOT office at 231-941-1986 if you have any questions, comments or concerns about the work or the schedule.
