Traverse City Snow Removal Information

Crews directed by the City's Street Superintendent are responsible for clearing winter's snow from over 8 miles of State trunkline, 83 miles of City streets and over 84 miles of City sidewalks and non-motorized trails.  Careful consideration has been given to prioritizing the snow removal effort.  The links below can be used to view our snow removal maps, and we hope they will give the public a better understanding of which streets and sidewalks get cleaned first and the reasons behind our procedures.  The safety and health of the public is always our first priority.
