Finding of No Significanct Impact/Environmental Assessment

CWSRF & DWSRF Project Plans

The Finding of No Significant Impact/Environmental Assessment documents (2) issued by EGLE for the City of Traverse City’s 2022 CWSRF Wastewater Improvements Project Plan (Boardman River Sewer Replacement/Rehabilitation), and 2022 DWSRF Water System Improvements Project Plan (Wayne Hill Booster Station and city-wide Lead/Galvanized Water Service Replacements) are required for publishing on the City's website. These documents will also be available on the www.michigan.gov/cwsrf and www.michigan.gov/dwsrf web pages for viewing.  This public participation step is a necessary requirement for CWSRF and DWSRF plan approvals for maintaining eligible funding status in Fiscal Year 2022 but does not, in and of itself, represent or imply basis of design or any applicable construction/resources permit approvals from EGLE.

EGLE, through its Finance Division, provides a low-interest loan financing program to assist qualified municipalities with the construction or upgrade of wastewater (Clean Water) infrastructure. In March 2021, the City Commission approved developing a Project Plan by our consultant, Hubbell, Roth and Clark (HRC) for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
