The Technology Department supports the City’s mission by providing reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. The department manages and maintains the City’s information systems, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and communications platforms to ensure efficient service delivery to residents, businesses, and staff. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) integrate spatial data (maps) and tabular data (informational databases) through computer technology. In doing so, it revolutionizes the way in which we can utilize information.
