Hydrant Flow Testing
Monday – Thursday, 1 a.m. – 7 a.m.
Beginning Wednesday, June 2, 2021
TRAVERSE CITY – Residents and Businesses should be aware that the City of Traverse City Water/Wastewater Maintenance Department will be performing fire hydrant flow testing. Flow testing is set to begin Wednesday, June 2nd, from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., continuing through the month of June.
Unfortunately, a slight coloration may be noticeable in the water in the mornings. Running cold water for a few minutes at a faucet will clear up any coloration. Any ground areas that are disturbed during the process will be restored during daylight hours.
We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please contact the Water/Wastewater Maintenance Department at (231)922-4923 if you have any questions or concerns regarding the work.
