City of Traverse City

The Brown Bridge Quiet Area is approximately 1300 acres of City-owned property located 11 miles southeast of Traverse City.

Bryant Park is a popular beach destination for locals and visitors. The large sand area and shallow depth of water makes for perfect swimming. The park has a grass area that is shaded by a tree canopy and also has a play structure for those taking a beach break.

Clinch Park is along the 2+ mile stretch of public land on West Grand Traverse Bay. The park has a large beach, concessions, splash pad, and the City's municipal marina. The TART Trail runs through the park toward the west end of the City.

Duncan L. Clinch Marina is owned and operated by the City of Traverse City and governed by the policies of the Michigan State Waterways Commission.

There are a number of special qualities related to our beloved Hickory Hills, but the legacy lies within the hundreds of youth in our area who have grown up on the hill.

West End Beach is a popular beach destination with a sandy water's edge and grass area for relaxing or throwing the frisbee with friends.
