Public Outdoor Ice Skating Rinks

In the winter we create and maintain ice skating rinks, two of which have warming houses. There is no charge for use of these rinks. Weather permitting, the rinks will be open from mid-January to early March. Warming house hours are Monday through Friday 3:30pm to 9pm, Saturday 12pm to 9pm, and Sunday 12pm to 8pm.

Rink Locations (click on map at right for map view):

14th and Pine Street (Thirlby Field)

Rose Street near Carver (Traverse Heights Elementary School).

State Street between Railroad and Hope (F&M Park - no warming house)

 Update- 2/7/2020

Ice skating rinks at 14th Street , F&M Park and Traverse Heights are open starting tomorrow (Feb 8) since mother nature decided to start cooperating for a bit. Best ice is at F&M, other rinks are skateable but needing some TLC and extra flooding as temps allow. Warming hut hours are 12p-9p for Saturday and 12p-8p for Sunday at 14th Street and Traverse Heights locations.

It is suggested to wear a helmet at all times while skating. Please skate at your own risk.
