Public Outdoor Ice Skating Rinks

In the winter we create and maintain ice skating rinks. There will be no warming houses during the 2021 season. There is no charge for use of these rinks. Weather permitting, the rinks will be open from mid-January to early March. 

Rink Locations (click on map at right for map view):

14th and Pine Street (Thirlby Field)  

Rose Street near Carver (Traverse Heights Elementary School). 

State Street between Railroad and Hope (F&M Park - no warming house)

 Update- 1/29/2021

  Ice Skating Rinks at all locations are now ready for use.

It is suggested to wear a helmet at all times while skating. Please skate at your own risk. 

Update- 2/24/2021

  Due to unseasonably warm temperatures, ice skating rinks are no longer open.
